Description:
The candidate should preferably have:
- A track record of successful developer roles undertaken on medium to large projects.
- Experience in a large commercial organization in a developer
- Excellent communication skills to business and technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Mainframe technologies i.e. COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TWS (Scheduling), IMS and preferably Hogan
- Knowledge and experience of more than one recognized development methodology e.g. waterfall
Good functional knowledge of an application preferable in financial domain.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Project delivery including design, development, testing (80%)
- Project Management i.e. compliance to processes (10%)
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards.

Essential/Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Mainframe technologies i.e. COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TWS (Scheduling), IMS
and preferably Hogan
